Who We Are

Our team includes designers, engineers, technologists, content specialists, and business and organizational development professionals; all dedicated to excellence in their work. In this work, we call on a network of business and technology veterans that extends from Cambridge to Palo Alto and across the globe.

Leading our team is CEO Steven Solomon. He is the past Deputy Director of a world-leading computer science center, the Center for Real-time Intelligent Complex Computing, and was most recently the Director of the Interactive Communities Network, a unique regional, public intranet. From 1984 through 1996, he served in several regional management capacities with MediaOne of New England, including Director of Public Affairs. There he developed and managed a ground-breaking, fully interactive distance-learning system over cable. He is also the published author of numerous articles on the intersection of business, technology, and culture. You can read some of his thoughts, as well as those of others, in Things We Think.

Our Board of Advisors includes:

Gaynelle Grover is the founder of G2, and is a branding strategist with over 15 years experience directing branding-related projects for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to launching G2, Gaynelle was the Brand Identity Director at Apple Computer, and a Senior Consultant with Landor Associates, the world's largest corporate identity design firm. At Landor her client roster included AT&T, Apple Computer, Bell Atlantic, Coca-Cola, CNN, Delta Air Lines, IBM, and Intel, among others. She also currently lectures on brand-building at Stanford University.

Peter Russert is a Marketing and Naming Consultant involved in naming, branding, and marketing strategy development for over 12 years. Before launching his own naming consultancy, SetTheBar, Peter was the Creative Director at Symantec Inc. He also currently lectures on brand-building at Stanford University. Among his current clients are: Visa, USWebCKS, Netscape, AltaVista, and Inktomi.

Don Dulchinos is the Vice President for New Business Development at CableLabs, the R&D and standards-setting body for the United States cable telecommunications industry. In this capacity, Don routinely works with such corporations as ATT, Microsoft, Motorola, Scientific Atlanta, General Instrument, major consumer electronics manufacturers such as Sony, Phillips, and Thomson, and the full range of cable telecom players. His most recent achievement was the development of the OpenCable standard for next-generation set-top boxes, incorporating advanced interactive features. Prior to that effort, Don was intimately involved in the development of cable Internet services and the development of the cable modem.

Charles Donofrio is president and chief executive officer of Richardson, Myers & Donofrio, Inc., a strategically-driven integrated marketing, communications, interactive media, research and consulting firm recognized by Adweek magazine as the ninth fastest growing agency in the southeast. Among his wide range of business-to-business and consumer accounts are the American Institute of Architects, Henry J. Kaiser Foundation, the National Association of REALTORS, Procter & Gamble, Rubbermaid, and AnnuityNet.com. In 1996, realizing that the future of commercial speech would consist almost exclusively of two-way, interactive communication, Chuck and partner Sean Carton formed Carton Donofrio Interactive, recently named as one of the top 100 interactive media firms by The Industry Standard.
